Welcome to Laurel Avenue HQ. It's November and construction has finally begun. The little mini-house in the background is the two-car garage...and yes, that is the front door. Or should I call it, the front "opening". All that you see here will soon be ripped away. Richard hired a local contractor named Shawn. He was recommended by the real estate agent that brokered the sale of the house. Richard is excited to get started and feels empowered after all he's been through to actually purchase the house...but of course, he's also feeling a bit scared and daunted by the enormity of the project.
